By accessing or using Pulpit Points at pulpitpoints.com and app.pulpitpoints.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and Pulpit Points ("we," "us," or "our").
Pulpit Points is a web-based sermon preparation tool that generates alliterative variations of sermon points submitted by users. The Service uses a proprietary prompting paired with artificial intelligence to produce alternative phrasings of user-submitted content. The Service is designed to assist pastors and preachers in crafting memorable sermon outlines.
The Service does not write sermons, provide theological counsel, or replace personal Bible study and prayer.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits per month at no charge. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Changes to pricing will not affect your current billing cycle.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of sermon preparation and alliterative content generation. You agree not to use the Service to generate content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against any individual or group.
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI prompts, system instructions, or proprietary methods of the Service. You agree not to use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage.
You agree not to resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or access to the Service without our written permission. You agree not to attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or other usage restrictions. You agree not to share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of the sermon points, Scripture references, and other content you submit to the Service. You also retain full ownership of the alliterative variations generated from your submissions. You are free to use generated content in any way you choose, including in sermons, publications, and other ministry materials.
Our Service: The Service itself, including its design, code, AI prompts, branding, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of Pulpit Points and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The name "Pulpit Points," the name "The Alliteration Engine," and associated logos and branding are our intellectual property and may not be used without our written permission.
The alliterative variations produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. While our system is designed to maintain theological accuracy and use KJV language, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or phrasings that do not align with your doctrinal convictions.
You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before use. We strongly encourage you to evaluate every generated point against Scripture before incorporating it into any sermon or teaching.
The Service is a tool to assist your preparation, not a substitute for personal study, prayer, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We do not guarantee the theological accuracy of any AI-generated output.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
We strive to maintain consistent availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We reserve the right to modify credit allocations, pricing, and plan features with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us at support@pulpitpoints.com to request account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior, or use the Service in a manner that threatens the security or integrity of the Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion following termination will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for partial months. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, contact us at support@pulpitpoints.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide a credit at our discretion. Free credits and trial access are provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Greene County, North Carolina.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pulpit Points regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or communications.
