Introduction

Pulpit Points ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at pulpitpoints.com and the web application at app.pulpitpoints.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any name you provide. Account authentication is handled through our third-party authentication provider, Clerk.

Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment processing in accordance with PCI compliance standards. We do receive and store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.

Sermon Content: When you use the Service, you submit Scripture references and sermon points. These inputs, along with the alliterative variations generated, are stored in our database to provide you with a history of your generations and to manage your credit usage.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage data including the number of generations you have created, your current plan, and credit usage. We do not track your browsing behavior across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service, including generating alliterative sermon variations based on your input. We use it to manage your account, subscription, and credit balance. We use it to process payments through Stripe. We may use it to communicate with you about your account or the Service if necessary. We use it to monitor usage for security purposes, including rate limiting to prevent abuse. We may use aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service.

How Your Sermon Content Is Processed

When you submit sermon points for alliteration, your input is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy and API terms of service.

We do not use your sermon content for any purpose other than generating your requested alliterative variations. Your sermon inputs and generated outputs are stored in our database solely to provide you with generation history and to track credit usage.

We do not sell, share, or use your sermon content for training AI models. Your sermons are yours.
